About the Role
This position provides an extraordinary member experience by performing standard teller transactions and balancing processed transactions on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Performs accurately routine transactions related to Credit Union products and services in a professional and courteous manner.
- Balances processed transactions on a daily basis.
- Cross-sells all Credit Union products and services, directing members to the appropriate departments.
- Attends training sessions and seminars as requested by supervisor and mandated by the Credit Union.
- Adheres to and demonstrates the behaviors of the Credit Union’s core values; actively works to enhance the member experience.
- Performs all duties in line with all Credit Union policies and all state and federal regulations.
- Other duties as requested.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
- Satisfactory completion of teller training.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., calculator).
- Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence.
- Must be able to use basic math skills and spell accurately up to a high school graduate level.

Physical Requirements
- Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion.
- Regularly lift a cash box of up to 10 lbs. and coin bags up to 30 lbs. on occasion.
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day.
- Must be able to work additional hours as required or requested by management.
- Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
- Routinely perform work indoors in a climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
- Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team.
- Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions.
