Teller (Part Time) - Snyder

About the role

This position involves performing various banking tasks including deposit and withdrawal processing, posting to general ledger accounts, cashing negotiable items, processing loan payments, savings bonds, and cashier’s checks. The role also includes selling bank products and services to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Processes deposits and loan payments.
• Cashes checks and negotiable instruments.
• Verifies and balances cash daily.
• Sells traveler’s checks, official checks, and money orders.
• Processes credit card cash advances.
• Ensures client requests and inquiries are promptly resolved.
• Maintains privacy of customer information.
• Assists with training or orientation as needed.
• Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly.
• Attends meetings and training classes.
• Performs night drop functions as assigned.
• Performs related clerical duties as assigned.
• Ensures work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained.
• Cross sells bank products and services.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience/cash handling required.
• Previous Teller experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
• Good math skills.
• Good typing skills.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Bank operations preferred.
• Mentor Program DNA Standard/UX.
• All required training and webinars in 90-day plan.
• CTR/MIL understanding.
• IVIEW Product Knowledge.
• SCO ATM Balancing.
• WITS/Wires – min. domestic Risk Management Skill.
• Dual Control.
