Pay
Competitive hourly pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on credit union or banking experience).
Responsibilities
- Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
- Provide outstanding service and identify solutions that meet members' financial needs.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and follow security procedures.
- Address member questions and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Answer member questions and assist with account‑related requests.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless and positive member experience.
- Promote ECU products and services that can benefit our members.
Schedule & Location
- Monday through Friday: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM (one weekday off each week).
- Saturday: 7:45 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Primary branch location: Romeoville; employees may be required to work at any of our other five branch locations (Batavia, Oswego, Yorkville, Aurora, Montgomery) based on business needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math and cash‑handling abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Dependability – reliable, shows up for scheduled shifts, and arrives on time.
- Preferred: Previous teller experience.
- Preferred: Prior credit union or banking experience.
