Teller - Member Services - Full-time
Location: Westover, WV. Final branch placement will be determined based on business needs and candidate preference. Member Experience Representatives may cover other locations or be assigned to a different home branch based on operational need.
Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 40 Hours Per Week
About The Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, building relationships, and developing a strong foundation in financial services. It can also serve as a starting point for growth into more advanced roles within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Listen attentively and respond promptly to members’ needs with a solution-focused approach.
- Serve members across multiple areas, including the lobby counter, drive-thru, and office spaces.
- Assess member needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services.
- Process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and payments.
- Maintain and balance an assigned cash drawer in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Open and maintain accounts, debit cards, term share certificates, and online banking services.
- Maintain trust and responsibility by keeping all member information confidential and secure.
- Stay current on—and ensure compliance with—all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible for employment in the United States.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have obtained a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be available to work a schedule rotation based on operating hours (Monday - Saturday).

Preferred Qualifications
- One to three years of related experience, such as customer service, retail, or teller work.
- Strong communication and member service skills.
- Proficiency with computers, calculators, and related software.
- Accurate cash handling and solid, basic math skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and tact.
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and detail-focused.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks proficiently.
- High accuracy when working with numbers and confidential member information.
- Strong analytical skills to support sound decision-making in member transactions.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to walk and sit; needs to be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must frequently or occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay
Starting pay from $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Monday - Saturday, based on operational need.
