Teller / Member Service Representative

About the role

This part-time position earns a competitive wage of $15 – $16/hour.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for customers, making a positive first impression and building relationships.
• Process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide information about available services and assist customers with inquiries.
• Follow all credit union policies and procedures.
• Use observational skills to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Leverage product knowledge to cross-sell financial products and services that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Cash-handling experience.
• Proficiency with computers and other office equipment.
• Strong math skills.

Schedule

• Part-time averaging 27–29 hours per week.
• Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
