Tellers at Central Pacific Bank are the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service and helping customers achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Processing routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments, and merchant transactions.
• Maintaining accurate records of each customer in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures.
• Counting currency and coin accurately.
• Answering customer questions with a can-do attitude, regardless of complexity or technicality.
• Complying with all security procedures and bank regulations applicable to your position.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of the bank’s policies and procedures relevant to your position.
• Safeguarding assigned, branch, and customer cash according to security procedures.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience by delivering personalized service and identifying referral opportunities.
• Cross-selling bank products and services while participating in branch or bank-wide campaigns.
• Maintaining and submitting customer referrals and reports as required.

Requirements

• Teller I: 6 months or more of experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Teller II: 1+ year(s) of experience in cash handling and customer service, 1+ year(s) of experience in a Financial Institution, and/or Teller experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
