Job Description First Hawaiian Bank currently has a great Teller opportunity at our Kahala branch that is robust with career growth and development opportunities. Compensation The pay range for this role is $18.00 - $21.50/hr., commensurate with experience; plus sales incentives Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Saturday on a rotational basis 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours may vary) Responsibilities As the face of First Hawaiian Bank in our branches, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients, process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services. You will have the opportunity to serve a diverse group of customers, from individuals opening their first checking account to seasoned investors managing their wealth. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent requiredOne year of experience in cash handlingOne year of experience in customer service Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g. retail, mortgage/loans/deposits, and wholesale banking)Must be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customersGood oral and interpersonal communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to use judgement and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential informationAble to handle confidential matters judiciouslyMust be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculatorPossesses sales skills to enhance business development opportunities
