TELLER FLOAT

About the Role

As a Teller Float, you will provide exceptional customer service and basic product information through a variety of banking transactions, including savings, checking, and loan account transactions, as well as money orders and official checks. You will travel between designated branches to support staffing needs, maintain consistent service levels, and identify cross-sell opportunities using the Walden Savings Bank Sales and Service Model.

• Previous cash handling or banking experience preferred but not required; training provided.

Pay

$20.00 - $22.92 per hour.

Schedule

30-40 hours per week; Monday–Thursday 8:15 am–4:45 pm; Friday 8:15 am–5:15 pm; Alternating Saturdays 8:45 am–1:15 pm.

Hours under 30 per week may be available upon request.

Locations

• Floats between regions: Gardiner, Walden, Montgomery.
• Middlehope, New Windsor, Cornwall, and Washingtonville.
• Pine Bush, Circleville, and Florida.

ADA Requirements

Work is typically indoors in a climate-controlled shared environment with moderate noise. This position primarily involves sedentary work with minimal physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. The role may require navigating stairs in emergency situations. Routine use of standard office equipment such as telephones, copiers, calculators, and computers is expected, with computer-based tasks typically performed for 6-8 hours per day. The ability to work extended hours when required or requested by management is necessary. Travel may involve driving, commercial airlines, rental vehicles, or public transportation, and may require overnight stays.
