About the Role
Welcome members into the branch and provide friendly, helpful service that promotes a positive financial well-being. Responsible for meeting established Credit Union and Branch goals for internal and external sales to existing and potential members. Build rapport with members to cross-sell financial products and services that deepen relationships and foster branch growth while adhering to credit union policy and procedures. Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests. Secure credit union assets, balance transactions, and complete necessary reports.
Responsibilities
- Welcome members into the branch and provide friendly, helpful service that promotes a positive financial well-being.
- Meet established Credit Union and Branch goals for internal and external sales to existing and potential members.
- Build rapport with members to cross-sell financial products and services that deepen relationships and foster branch growth while adhering to credit union policy and procedures.
- Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests.
- Secure credit union assets, balance transactions, and complete necessary reports.
Requirements
- Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am – 5:45pm and rotating Saturdays from 8:45am – 1:15pm at our Brooklyn Park branch; non-exempt.
- In addition: High school diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date).
- One year of experience interacting with the public or serving customers.
- One year of cash handling experience, preferred.
- Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), interpersonal skills, and active listening skills.
- Good decision-making skills and judgement.
- Able to perform calculations and proficient in basic math skills.
- Able to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records.
- Able to communicate with a diverse membership and employee population.
- A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor.
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $18.00 to $19.75 per hour + incentives.
Schedule
Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am – 5:45pm and rotating Saturdays from 8:45am – 1:15pm at our Brooklyn Park branch; non-exempt.
