About the role
Sound Credit Union is seeking a Teller / Member Service Representative to join the team at our Alderwood Branch. We offer a unique Branch Progression Model designed to provide advancement in your role and salary increases through on-the-job training and structured compensation adjustments.
Pay
The target salary range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50 per hour, depending on previous experience and education. The full salary range is $20.00 – $25.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for quarterly incentives tied to branch performance and product/service goals.

Responsibilities
- Assist members with financial transactions as the first point of contact.
- Respond to member inquiries and provide information on account status, balances, and loan details.
- Build relationships and deliver exceptional member service.
Requirements
- One year of experience in a customer service position required.
- Cash handling and retail sales experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be bondable.
- Notary and NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher (requires U.S. citizenship or permanent legal residency per WA State Law).
Schedule
This position requires an in-person schedule with shifts typically Monday – Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM or 9:15 AM – 5:45 PM, and rotating Saturdays 8:45 AM – 1:15 PM, affording a day off during the week.
