About the role

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Teller to join our Montgomery Branch. The position offers flexible hours, Monday-Saturday, totaling approximately 30 hours per week with open availability.

Responsibilities

• Processes member financial transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, with a high degree of accuracy.
• Assists members by assessing needs and educating on available products utilizing a needs-based sales approach and referring members to specialized departments as needed.
• Affixes in a variety of tasks to ensure efficient office operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Operates as a vault teller and is responsible for vault cash duties including cash ordering.
• Affixes with training and development of new and existing tellers.

Requirements

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Equivalent to a high school education.

Qualifications

• Advance knowledge of service delivery operations.
• Accuracy in numbers, procedural detail, processing and balancing negotiable instruments.
• Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.
