Teller

About the role

This position is responsible for serving customers at a window, processing a variety of over-the-counter transactions efficiently in an accurate and courteous manner to contribute to favorable customer relations. The role includes accepting checks for cash or payment, verifying endorsements and fund availability, making change, resolving customer inquiries related to teller functions, and directing customers to appropriate departments.

Responsibilities

• Process over-the-counter transactions accurately and courteously.
• Accept checks for cash or payment and verify endorsements and fund availability.
• Make change and resolve customer inquiries related to teller functions.
• Direct customers to the appropriate departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent degree.
• Ability to type precisely using a keyboard and 10-key.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty proficiently.
• Some Saturdays are required.

• Reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Walk frequently.
