Responsibilities

• Actively listen to members’ needs to identify, assess, and educate on solutions such as deposit accounts, loans, and credit cards.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to inquiries about account operations, service access, discrepancies, balancing, and reconciling.
• Assist members in making the most effective use of service offerings.
• Follow cash, dual control, and daily work documentation procedures, including balancing cash drawers daily.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.
• Customer support, problem-solving, and quality service experience is preferred.
• High level of integrity and commitment to exceptional member service with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to build rapport quickly, actively listen, and develop strong member relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Team-oriented with flexibility to adapt and support various member needs in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.00–$16.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods.
• Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, especially over long distances or between work sites.
• Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas via spoken word, especially where detailed or important instructions must be conveyed accurately and quickly.
• Hearing: Perceiving sounds at normal speaking levels (with or without correction) and receiving detailed oral information.
• Fine motor: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers; applying pressure with fingers and palm.
• Lifting Demands: Up to 50 lbs.
• Visual Demands: Visual acuity for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, inspecting small defects or parts, using measurement devices, and assembly or fabrication at close distances.
