Responsibilities
- Perform any functions necessary within the scope of authority and expertise to provide the highest levels of customer service and responsiveness.
- Superior Service Quality:
- Ensure excellence in customer service and maintain service standards.
- Act as a resource to identify customer servicing issues, resolve them, and retain customer relationships.
- Respond to customer requests, problems, and/or complaints, ensuring proper hand-off to the appropriate person if needed.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of bank products and services to recognize and address customer needs.
- Identify opportunities to suggest or cross-sell other bank services to customers.
- Operations:
- Perform a variety of transactions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash, checks, and credit card advances.
- Participate in individual, team, and bank goals as set by the branch manager.
- Adhere to internal controls and policies regarding audit, dual control, security, regulatory compliance, cash limits, and robbery procedures.
- Ensure BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) procedures are properly followed.
- Answer phone and in-person account inquiries.
- Account for all money in individual cash drawer and balance transactions daily.
- Security:
- Prevent fraudulent activities through strict adherence to bank policies and procedures.
- Adhere to branch security procedures detailed in the security manual.
- Maintain constant alertness and work in a safe manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft products is a plus.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Fluency in a second language is a plus.
