About the role

We are seeking a Telesales Vendor Manager / Senior Manager to oversee and optimize our Telesales function. This role requires 5+ years of relevant experience with Medicare Advantage or Health Insurance, 3+ years of experience managing a telesales team/vendor, and a high level of relationship management experience. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using technology to track sales funnels and inform sales approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for Clover’s Telesales sales and retention goals
  • Manage external Telesales partner and take full ownership of their training and performance (meeting Clover’s conversion rate and CAC targets)
  • Manage staffing and headcount projections to ensure optimal staffing and compliance-based service requirements, and remain within budget
  • Lead and oversee the development of reporting dashboards and technology improvements within the CRM and telephony systems
  • Perform silent monitoring of telesales reps and generate report cards on a daily basis
  • Ensure all telematics are configured properly and operational
  • Develop new processes as needed to effectively manage the inbound and outbound lead funnel, plus support Marketing and Sales to help grow the lead funnel
  • Serve as the main feedback loop for all telematic activity that Clover has with each market, sculpting the most efficient and financially sound sales strategy that uniquely fits this particular channel and the markets you serve
  • Surface significant shifts or developments across the channel as well as key markets to sales team leadership, getting ahead of changes that may impact sales targets and performance

Requirements

You should have a passion for selling, both in terms of the highest compliance standards as well as driving overall growth. You believe in using technology and data to drive your thinking around sales, productivity, and other key metrics.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Medicare Advantage or Health Insurance
  • 3+ years of experience managing a telesales team/vendor
  • A high level of relationship management experience
  • A preference for using and believing in the value of technology to track your sales funnel and inform your sales approach over time

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: $107,700—$140,000 USD
