Responsibilities

  • Provides remote medical case management services to injured individuals, many of whom were industrially injured.
  • Assists consumers in their recovery so that they may return to the highest level of function as possible.
  • Coordinates and assesses medical services frequently.
  • Explores vocational options with the injured worker and their employers.
  • Secures pre-injury employment or alternate employment.
  • Works with all parties to the claim including: the injured person, the claim's examiner, employer, attorneys (plaintiff and defense), and medical providers.

Qualifications

  • Unrestricted compact RN required.
  • Additional RN license from CA, NY, NV, and/or OR preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred.
  • CCM preferred (required within 2 years of hire).
  • Other state endorsements/certifications: WCCM, TN Registry, NCIC, GA Rehab Suppliers.
  • Worker's compensation case management experience preferred.
  • ICU/ER experience will be considered.
  • Case Managers may also need regional or national certifications and must adhere to the standards of practice outlined by the specific national certifying body or the jurisdictionally accepted standards of practice.
  • Professional licenses or certifications required to meet qualifications for this position must be current, unrestricted and allow for practice within a state or territory of the United States.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Mountain or Pacific Time.
