Telephonic Nurse Case Manager
About the role
Paradigm is seeking a full-time, benefitted Telephonic Case Manager with a compact RN license and additional CA RN license to provide remote medical case management services to injured individuals, many of whom were industrially injured. This position assists consumers in their recovery to help them return to the highest level of function possible.
The Telephonic Case Manager (TCM) ensures medical services are coordinated and assessed frequently, vocational options are explored with the injured worker and their employers, and pre-injury or alternate employment is secured. The TCM works with all parties to the claim, including the injured person, claim examiner, employer, attorneys (plaintiff and defense), and medical providers.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote medical case management services to injured individuals.
- Coordinate and assess medical services frequently.
- Explore vocational options with injured workers and their employers.
- Secure pre-injury employment or alternate employment.
- Collaborate with all parties to the claim, including injured persons, claim examiners, employers, attorneys, and medical providers.
Qualifications
- Unencumbered compact RN license (required).
- Additional unencumbered CA RN license (preferred).
- CCM (Certified Case Manager) strongly preferred.
- Professional licenses or certifications must be current, unrestricted, and allow for practice within a U.S. state or territory.
- Adherence to standards of practice outlined by national certifying bodies or jurisdictionally accepted standards.
