About the role

At CVS Health, Telepharmacy Technicians play a critical role in managing day-to-day operations within our Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy (RDP) locations. They oversee the safe and secure operation of the pharmacy, manage prescription fulfillment, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists and pharmacy team manage and improve patient health
  • Serving as a keyholder, keeping alarm and safe codes, and protecting the integrity of all pharmacy products, with special attention to refrigerated products and controlled substances
  • Fulfilling prescriptions according to pharmacy workflow procedures, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off
  • Managing inventory, including counting, capturing images, and maintaining inventory
  • Supporting immunizations and other patient health care services when the pharmacist is on-site
  • Assisting with additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor or Manager

Requirements

  • Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
  • Must have National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
  • Must have State-level licensure requirements
  • Must have 1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician; CVS Pharmacy Technician experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have Attention and Focus, Communication Skills, Mathematical Reasoning, Problem Resolution, Physical Demands, and Express or Exchange Ideas by means of spoken word
  • Must have Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv) experience, Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting, Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $19.05 - $29.05. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
