Telepharmacy Technician - (Onsite - Store 16141 - Scottsdale, AZ) - Part Time
About the role
At CVS Health, Telepharmacy Technicians play a critical role in managing day-to-day operations, execution, and performance within the Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy (RDP) locations. They oversee the safe and secure operation of the RDP, manage prescription fulfillment, and contribute to positive patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists and pharmacy team manage and improve patient health
- Serving as a keyholder, keeping alarm and safe codes, and protecting the integrity of all pharmacy products, with special attention to refrigerated products and controlled substances
- Fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately, including counting, capturing images, and maintaining inventory
- Showing empathy and genuine care by creating heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
- Managing inventory activities, such as putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories, etc.
- Supporting additional patient health care services when the pharmacist is on-site, such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and volunteering at offsite clinics
- Supporting immunizations by obtaining Technician Immunizer status, educating patients about the importance of vaccines, and monitoring for adverse reactions
Requirements
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- Must have National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Must have State-level licensure requirements
- Must have 1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician; CVS Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have Attention and Focus, Customer Service and Team Orientation, Communication Skills, Mathematical Reasoning, Problem Resolution, Physical Demands, and Express or Exchange Ideas by Means of Spoken Word
- Preferred qualifications include Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv), Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting, Experience in an Inventory Specialist role, and Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations

The typical pay range for this role is $17.15 - $27.15. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
