Telemetry Technician - PCU Telemetry Unit
About the role
This position is full time and will work 12-hour, Night shifts. The Telemetry Technician is responsible for maintaining the nursing station by performing clerical, order entry and receptionist duties, as well as observing and responding to the telemetry alarms. They also provide patient care as appropriate with their scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the nursing station by performing clerical, order entry and receptionist duties.
- Respond to telemetry alarms and provide necessary interventions.
- Provide patient care as appropriate within the scope of practice.
Requirements
- Coursework/Training and Certificate of completion of approved Rhythm Interpretation course with a grade of 80% or better or pass equivalent hospital provided test with 80% or better.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Qualifications
- Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA).
- Healthcare experience.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
