TELEMETRY TECHNICIAN
Summary
The Summary Telemetry Technician is responsible for continuous observation and documentation of cardiac rhythms displayed on the telemetry monitor and for identifying and reporting any cardiac arrhythmias or changes in patient's rate or rhythm.
Responsibilities
- Continuous observation and documentation of cardiac rhythms displayed on the telemetry monitor
- Identify and report any cardiac arrhythmias or changes in patient's rate or rhythm
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with telemetry monitors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
Qualifications
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
