About the Role

The Telemetry Technician performs a variety of technical tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Duties include continuously observing real-time electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) readouts for multiple patients simultaneously, measuring and recording data, and alerting nursing staff regarding changes in patient condition.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor real-time EKG/ECG readouts for multiple patients.
• Measure and record patient data accurately.
• Alert nursing staff to changes in patient condition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Associate’s Degree, Clinical Certification, or comparable central telemetry experience (preferred).

Qualifications

• CPR certification (required).
• CNA certification (preferred).
• Successful demonstration of telemetry exam and competency in EKG interpretation.
• Previous experience (preferred).

Salaries are determined by factors including education, job-related experience, skills, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. The pay range reflects RUSH’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected for the position, with offers varying based on individual circumstances.
