Telemetry RN - Travel Nurse

About the Role

A Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for monitoring and interpreting patient data via specialized equipment to ensure optimal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor electronic displays of vital signs and cardiac data.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify medical team members.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data to address adverse symptoms.
• Adjust and interpret specialized medical equipment used on patients.
• Ensure proper patient handling, including lifting and movement, requiring physical stamina and vision acuity.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NRP, TNCC, PALS (additional certifications may be required).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong visual acuity, including color and peripheral vision.
