About the Role

The University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time Night Shift Registered Nurse to join our skilled and compassionate 3 South Telemetry team. This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As a Telemetry RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. Working alongside an interdisciplinary care team, you will assess, plan, coordinate, and deliver safe, evidence-based care while supporting patients and families through education and clinical guidance. Schedule

Full Time Nights: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Every other weekend and rotating holidays required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain competencies required for the patient care setting; focus on advancing own professional development.

  • Demonstrate effectiveness as a multidisciplinary team member.
  • Learn and use computer systems in order to manage patient information.
  • Participate in team-building efforts on units; support and model teamwork.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland, or eligibility to practice under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) in accordance with Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) requirements.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience.
  • Full-time availability, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $42.35 - $57.40 per hour.
