Telemetry Monitoring Tech

Job Summary

As a Monitor Technician at Alaska Regional Hospital, you will deliver high quality, patient-centered care to cardiac patients monitoring for age-related arrhythmias and reporting results to the nursing staff. You will provide competent, continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation, safe and effective use of equipment, and support unit and hospital philosophy, goals, and objectives.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of telemetry monitoring experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of specialty equipment and tools: Telemetry monitoring system management, strong cardiac rhythm recognition, interpretation skills & communication skills strongly desired.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
