Telemetry LPN

About the role

We are seeking a Telemetry LPN to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry/acute care unit at St. Mary's Medical Center- Blue Springs, MO.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, identifying and reporting abnormalities
• Assess, record, and document vital signs and patient status accurately in the medical record
• Notify clinical staff of significant changes in patient condition or telemetry readings
• Auxiliary patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide basic care support
• Provide education on telemetry monitoring and collaborate with RNs to support care delivery

Requirements

• Current and valid state license
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current IV certification upon hire (state specific)
