Employment Type : Full Time
Shifts Available: Nights
Hours: 12-Hour shifts – 7:00am to 7:00pm
Location : Providence Medical Center – Kansas City, KS
Responsibilities
- M easure and document vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation)
- O bserve patients for any changes in condition, such as increased discomfort, difficulty breathing, or changes in mental status, and report findings to the RN
- O bserve cardiac monitors and reporting any irregularities to the nursing staff
- E nsure telemetry leads and equipment are properly placed and functioning
- A ct as a liaison between patients and the nursing team
Qualifications
- CURRENT Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required
- CURRENT BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
- MINIMUM six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred
