Telehealth Nurse (RN) (In Office Role)
About the role
The Telehealth Nurse (RN) role operates in an office setting and involves providing patient support services, including education, advocacy, and coordination of care.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of program services, identifying barriers to therapy and assisting patients in navigating these barriers.
- Act as an educator, possessing knowledge and practical experience about clinical treatments and the emotional and financial implications of a new diagnosis, chronic medical condition, or life-threatening condition.
- Enable patients by providing information and education about their prescribed therapy, proper administration and dosing, insurance coverage, and resources for financial assistance.
- Empower patients to participate in their personal care process by referring them to appropriate support services for non-program needs.
- Report adverse events and product complaints in accordance with SOP and good manufacturing practices.
- Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Successful candidates must have clinical nursing experience with demonstrated competence in educating and managing patients with a new diagnosis or chronic medical condition.
- Knowledge about clinical aspects of the relevant disease state, including protocol therapy and common prescribing algorithms.
- General computer skills.

- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Indiana or Kentucky.
- Two to three years of nursing experience with relevant disease state experience preferred.
- Nurseline triage, Call Center Utilization Management, or Call Center Case Management experience a plus.
- Clinical Trial Nurse experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This job is in-office and operates in a professional office environment. The employee is regularly required to sit for long periods, use hands for typing, handling, and feeling, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to type 35 WPM with 97% accuracy. Inbound and outbound phone calls are part of the role, and flexibility to travel as needed is preferred. The schedule rotates between 8 am to 11 pm Monday-Friday. Candidates must commit to a minimum of 6 months or a client-facing role before being considered for lateral or promotion-level moves.
