Telehealth Nurse Practitioner - Sexual Health

Responsibilities

• Delivering inclusive, expert virtual HIV prevention care through scheduled synchronous consultations through our virtual care platform
• Providing asynchronous care to ensure timely and continuous support for patients, including ordering labs and diagnostics, interpreting results, prescribing medication, and clinical follow-up
• Maintaining accurate, detailed patient records in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, using a wide variety of virtual tools to chart, prescribe, and connect with patients
• Driving an outstanding 11/10 star patient experience by serving as a resource for Registered Nurses and working collaboratively with our support teams

Requirements

• Masters Degree, Post Master's Certificate or Doctorate in Nursing
• Current national certification in family practice through ANCC, AANP or another nationally recognized certification
• MUST possess active APRN medical licensure in 10+ states
• Possess an unrestricted DEA license
• Experience working in HIV prevention, sexual health, and/or with the LGBTQ2S+ community
• 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family practice or primary care
• 1+ years of experience working in telehealth
• Daily availability for asynchronous patient care tasks (lab reviews, prescribing, follow-ups), plus 15 hours weekly for scheduled shifts, including live consultations
• Above-average comfort with technology and assisting patients with troubleshooting technical difficulties that may occur in the home environment
• Outstanding clinical expertise, evidence-based practice
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Timely and professional
• Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset
