Telehealth Neurologist (Remote) CT
We are seeking a Neurologist licensed in Connecticut to provide virtual neurology care to Local Infusion patients, focusing on memory care and dementia-related conditions. This is a contract, patient-facing clinical role delivering high-quality, compassionate virtual care to increase patient access and reduce time to treatment. You must live in and be licensed in Connecticut and will work remotely from CT.
About the role
Conduct virtual neurology visits for new and existing patients, with an emphasis on memory disorders and dementia care. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological conditions consistent with telehealth standards of care. Partner with NPs and referring providers to develop and adjust patient care plans. Maintain timely, compliant clinical documentation in the EMR and escalate complex or urgent cases per Local Infusion clinical protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual neurology visits for new and existing patients, focusing on memory disorders and dementia care
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological conditions in accordance with telehealth standards of care
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and referring providers to develop and adjust patient care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in the EMR
- Escalate complex or urgent cases following Local Infusion clinical protocols
Requirements
- Board certified/eligible neurologist with an active, unrestricted medical license in Connecticut
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as needed
- Experience diagnosing and managing memory disorders, dementia, or related cognitive conditions
- Experience providing anti-amyloid therapy and monitoring patients receiving these medications
- Prior telehealth experience required
- Comfortable working independently in a contract (1099) capacity with a flexible visit schedule
- Excellent communication skills with patients, caregivers, and care teams
