Travel MRI Tech - $2,667 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment at a hospital‑based MRI unit in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. The position requires at least 1 year of MRI Tech experience and an active Pennsylvania or compact license (if applicable). Employment type: Travel.

Schedule

• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week (averaged over an 8‑days‑on, 6‑days‑off rotation)
• Shifts vary between 6 and 12 hours, generally between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM
• Works every other weekend
• On‑call approximately once per month with weekday coverage through 9:00 PM
• Must be available to work every other holiday

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• Active Pennsylvania or compact state license (if applicable)
• AHA‑issued certifications only
• Cerner experience preferred
• Driver’s license, Social Security Number, and date of birth required for consideration

Additional qualifications

• Willingness to float within the hospital based on specialty needs
• Willingness to float to sister facilities within a 10‑mile radius if needed
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (based on driver’s license address); local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
• Background, licensing, or fingerprinting concerns must be disclosed prior to consideration
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible
• Travelers who complete a cumulative year within the health system must wait 2 years before returning
• Fingerprinting, drug screen, and required labs must be completed within 24–48 hours of signing
• First 8 hours of orientation required, plus approximately 1 hour of pre‑start modules

Pay
