Telehealth ICU Registered Nurse - Nights

About the role

This onsite virtual RN position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. The RN develops personalized care plans collaboratively, assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and respects patient values and cultural considerations. It requires alertness and safety consciousness as it is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and pursue professional development.
• Create, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Conduct telehealth patient monitoring.

Qualifications

• Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree, RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, 2+ years of experience, critical care background, MO and IL RN licensure, BSN.
