About the role
The primary responsibility is to install, repair, and maintain all of GVTC’s products and services through field operations as defined.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems
- Provide customer support and resolve issues related to phone, cable TV, internet, and security systems
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing
Skills
- Knowledge of telecommunications systems and protocols
- Proficiency with tools and equipment used in installation and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
