Job Description and Duties
Join the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and be part of an organization that serves as a leader in emergency management and homeland security through dedicated service to all. The Telecommunications Systems Technician II (TST II) responds to and resolves public safety communications problems for State Agency clients, following FCC rules and regulations.
Working Conditions
This position supports and manages the day-to-day business operations for Cal OES, which is handled in an office location. This is not considered a hybrid telework position. The position requires a valid California Driver’s License (CDL).

- The position requires a valid California Driver’s License (CDL).
- The position requires a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
- The position requires Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
- To be eligible for consideration, you must possess an FCC General Radiotelephone Operator’s License or industry accepted equivalent.
