About the Role

This position functions as a Telecommunications and Special Systems Low-Voltage Installer/Technician for Rosendin, installing new low-voltage systems while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes along with all Rosendin policies and procedures. Rosendin is gearing up for a new multi-year healthcare project located in Sacramento.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, maintain, and test low-voltage systems, including access control systems (ACS), Security, DAS, ERRCS, Paging Systems, Low Voltage Master Clock, CCTV, and Fiber Optic Data Systems in full support of Rosendin safety, operations, and productivity initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
  • Adhere to all of Rosendin's safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of applicable experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling, and conduit pulling.
  • Walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
  • Maintain a standing position for long periods while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires.
  • Work off ladders, man lifts, or reach booms.
  • Lift 50 lbs. from the ground and pull 50 lbs. of force.
  • Use feet, legs, hands, and arms to climb and/or balance on scaffolding or ladders.
  • Use arms, hands, and fingers to reach, handle, and feel cable, wires, tools, and other equipment.
  • Work off ladders, man lifts, or reach booms without fear of heights.
  • See and hear, or have corrected vision (both close and distant) and hearing.
  • Distinguish color-coded wires.
  • Adjust vision focus and use peripheral vision and depth perception.

Working Environment:

  • Exposure to a variety of weather conditions including cold, snow, rain, and heat.
  • High noise levels.
  • Work environments that are sometimes noisy, cramped, and dirty.
  • Hazards include the risk of electrical shock and other work-site accidents.

Pay

$40-$50/hr plus comprehensive benefits and retirement package.
