Telecom Solutions Engineer
What’s the Job?
Design, implement, and support enterprise telecom infrastructure solutions with a focus on availability, scalability, disaster recovery, security, and monitoring.
Serve as a technical leader for telecom engineering initiatives, establishing standards, best practices, and operational procedures.
Support and troubleshoot complex voice and telecom environments involving SIP, VoIP, RTP, networking, QoS, routing, switching, and firewalls.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to deliver secure and scalable telecommunications solutions.
Develop engineering documentation and drive continuous improvements through automation, process optimization, and technology modernization.
What’s Needed?
- Experience supporting enterprise telecom environments with strong expertise in SIP, VoIP, RTP, and telephony technologies.
- Advanced troubleshooting experience within voice and data networking environments, including packet captures, SIP traces, QoS, routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of cloud services, telecom infrastructure best practices, and operational support.
- Experience with IVR platforms, contact center technologies, data integrations, and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Linux, SQL databases, and infrastructure security practices.
