About the role
As a PRN Telecom Operator at HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital, you will serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, ensuring efficient communication across the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Answer multiple incoming telephone lines.
- Obtain necessary information and transfer calls to correct extensions.
- Provide information to callers as appropriate.
- Perform overhead paging.
- Monitor all alarms located in PBX and notify appropriate personnel.
- Respond quickly to disaster and emergency situations.
- Assist with the maintenance of directories and on-call lists.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED.
- No prior experience required.
- No travel required.
