Key Responsibilities
- Work with telecom team, core engineering team, and customer support escalation groups to monitor and escalate real-time core network or infrastructure issues affecting customers.
- Maintain and improve OXIO’s network, providing technical support, fault investigation, and troubleshooting of network issues.
- Ensure the performance of the telecom network is at optimal levels by detecting and correcting network/application problems according to agreed KPIs and SLAs.
- Deploy and maintain monitoring solutions using tools like Sevone, Grafana, and CloudPak.
- Create and maintain dashboards for real-time system visibility.
- Implement distributed tracing and log aggregation solutions.
- Create on-demand dashboards to monitor specific metrics or validate service restoration after failures.
- Support NOC engineers in analyzing and solving issues.
- Develop KPIs and other metrics to monitor key aspects of mobile network performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and visualizations to track key performance metrics.
- Develop training material related to KPIs and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot, document, and assess proper escalation channels and teams or groups.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years experience working in a telecom environment doing L3 support or similar roles.
- Expertise in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, SevOne, CloudPak, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Basic Python / Linux / Bash knowledge.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Understanding of SLO/SLI/SLA concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English written and spoken.
