Telecom Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Design, implement, maintain, and optimize telecom infrastructure for reliable and scalable network communication. Collaborate with network architects to plan telecom networks and recommend suitable hardware/software solutions. Install, configure, and maintain telecom equipment including routers, switches, gateways, and servers. Monitor network performance, perform troubleshooting, and carry out routine maintenance (updates, patches, security). Plan and scale network capacity to meet growing organizational needs. Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide advanced troubleshooting support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Manage vendor relationships for procurement and technology updates. Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and processes; create user guides and training materials. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for network continuity. Train and mentor junior engineers; stay current with emerging telecom technologies.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
• Experience with security protocols and compliance with industry standards.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
