Mr. Appliance is looking for a Lead Appliance Repair Technician who values working with people they genuinely like, having fun while working, and protecting their free time. You’ll enjoy working with our team, and we offer no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances by troubleshooting, providing cost estimates, communicating with the customer, and collecting payments.
• Lead a team of Appliance Repair Technicians to properly diagnose and repair appliances.
• Serve as a resource and technical support for the team.
• Communicate effectively with the office.

Qualifications

• Exceptional Customer Service: You are the face of the company. Demonstrate the ability to provide an excellent customer experience, showing empathy toward the customer while accurately diagnosing and resolving their issue so they can return to an efficient home.
• Diagnosis to Solution: Help customers understand what needs to be done to resolve their problems quickly.
• Work Quality: Requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and that the job is fixed correctly the first time.
• Efficiency: Be efficient with your time and the speed at which you complete repairs to meet all customer needs during the day.
• Punctuality and Reliability: Customers eagerly await your help, so you must be available and arrive on time to provide a great experience.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and value precision when completing customer information and reports.
• Thirst for Knowledge: New devices and features appear all the time, so regular training is necessary. Be willing to research new equipment and take advantage of training opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills.
• Desire to Share Knowledge: Enjoy teaching other technicians the skills listed above.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Four or more years of prior appliance repair experience is a plus.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $XX.00 to $XX.00 per hour, depending on your appliance repair experience. You will also have the opportunity to earn bonuses and commissions.
