Responsibilities
- Perform safety behavior observations
- Conduct safety inspections
- Investigate and analyze accidents
- Perform risk analysis
- Train company employees in safety practices and advise on risk activities carried out by other management teams
- Assist and monitor the CIPATR (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention in Rural Work)
- Conduct audits, monitoring, and evaluations in the safety area
- Identify control variables for diseases, accidents, quality of life, and the environment
- Develop educational actions in occupational health and safety
- Participate in the adoption of technologies and work processes and manage occupational safety and health (OSH) documentation
- Monitor the coal production area as well as wood harvesting and transportation to assist in accident prevention
Requirements
- Completed high school education
- Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety
- Professional certification
- Valid category B driver’s license (CNH)
- Knowledge of NRs (Regulatory Norms), accident investigation, and risk management
- Availability to work in the field and on shift schedules
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the role, preferably in an industrial environment
- Availability to stay in company-provided accommodation according to operational schedules
- Reside in Sonora (MS) and/or availability for immediate relocation
- Immediate availability to start
Skills
- Experience in industrial areas and/or coal production (desirable)
