About the role

EL.CA. Automazioni is looking for a Technical Support Technician to play a fundamental role in ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity of the group's machine tools.

Responsibilities

  • Intervene promptly in case of machine failures or malfunctions, traveling to the customer's site to diagnose the problem and provide an effective solution.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on machines, using specific tools and technologies.
  • Replace faulty components with original spare parts.
  • Carry out tests and checks to ensure correct machine operation after intervention.
  • Provide technical support to customers, both on-site and remotely, to resolve technical issues or answer questions about the machines.
  • From problem analysis to solution research, commit to clear and precise communication with the customer to ensure their complete satisfaction.
  • Provide training to customers on machine use and maintenance.
  • Continuously update on new technologies and group products.
  • Participate in meetings and training courses to improve skills.
  • Draft reports and documentation on interventions performed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and/or three-year degree in computer science, electronics, automation, or mechanical fields (preferred).
  • Strong interest in deepening technological issues related to the use of solid modeling software (CAD CAM).
  • Proficiency in main computer programs (MS Windows and Office).
  • Good knowledge of BLM Group machine tools and their operating systems (training provided if not already possessed).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems effectively.
  • Manual skills and precision in performing interventions.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Customer orientation and problem-solving orientation.
  • Precision, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Possession of a Category B driver's license.
