About the role
Visitation BVM Catholic School in Norristown is accepting applications for a full-time Technology Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will teach technology from PreK-8 according to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, write and implement the Archdiocese of Philadelphia curriculum in the above subjects.
- Work with homeroom teachers to incorporate technology into the curriculum.
- Use 3D printers, robotic kits, and other technology during instruction.
- Communicate with parents about students’ progress.
- Establish and maintain an educational environment consistent with instructional goals.
- Manage student behavior to encourage the best possible student educational experience.
- Evaluate students’ academic growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare various progress reports and report cards.
- Assist teachers with using technology as needed in the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school goals.
Requirements
- College degree
- Teacher certification
- Updated clearances
- Pennsylvania State Police Background Check
- Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI fingerprinting
