About the role
The successful candidate will teach Mechanical Engineering, Robotics I, Robotics II, Robotics III, and Advanced Robotics, using hands-on, project-based instruction to engage students and develop their engineering, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach Mechanical Engineering, Robotics I, Robotics II, Robotics III, and Advanced Robotics
- Create a positive, collaborative learning environment
- Prepare students for college, careers, and future opportunities in technology and engineering
Requirements
- A Connecticut Teaching Certificate #047 - Technology Education (PreK-12) is preferred
- Demonstrate the ability to create a positive, collaborative learning environment
- Prepare students for college, careers, and future opportunities in technology and engineering
Qualifications
- Experience teaching Mechanical Engineering, Robotics I, Robotics II, Robotics III, and Advanced Robotics
- Ability to create a positive, collaborative learning environment
- Knowledge of project-based instruction
