Technology Support I - AI
About the role
As a Technology Support team member in the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. You will encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production issues interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless stakeholders experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end application and infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm.
- Support the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availability.
- Monitor production environments for anomalies and address issues using standard observability tools.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to speed up incident triage and trend analysis from operational signals, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
- Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within incident/problem/change routines to identify recurring interruption patterns and support validated remediation actions aligned to resiliency and security expectations.
- Identify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
- Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management across full-stack technology systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services (2–3+ years depending on level).
- Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale environment, on-premises and public cloud (AWS EC2, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk and/or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting and programming (Python, Java) and database systems (SQL/MySQL; Oracle SQL/PLSQL a plus).
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Splunk and/or Geneos, Grafana, Dynatrace).
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support production workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted incident recommendations before action, escalating when uncertain.
- Exposure to various framework processes like ITIL.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Hands-on experience providing technology/production support using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities — e.g., AI-assisted incident triage, trend analysis, run-book retrieval, and validated remediation, with strong output-validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Experience with general-purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting.
- Working understanding of public cloud; exposure to AWS Cloud and Kafka is a plus.
- AWS Amplify, GCP Cloud Run / Compute Engine / Cloud SQL, full-stack development, AI-driven tool development, API integration experience.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
