About the role

Hoefer Welker is seeking a qualified Healthcare Technology Specialist with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a technology designer/consultant for healthcare design and construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide working knowledge and consulting of technology systems to design-related project teams
  • Develop estimated technology budgets, design phase planning, and industry recognizable deliverables
  • Manage technology design sub-consultants and coordinate meetings with sub-consultants and design teams
  • Actively participate and lead technology-related discussions, visioning, or brainstorming sessions
  • Participate in business development activities, including project pursuits, interviews with clients, and industry conferences
  • Work interactively with architectural and engineering project teams and provide support to senior technology specialists and CTS team members

Qualifications

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in IT, biomedical engineering, or equivalent in education or experience
  • 3+ years of prior experience as a technology designer within healthcare construction projects
  • Experience in leading clinical user meetings and presenting information to project stakeholders, senior clinical leadership, and physicians
  • RCDD and CTS-D certification a plus

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Blue Beam
  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information
  • Ability to travel to projects (minimum 25% or as needed)
