About the role

As a Technology Services Project Designer in our Madison office, you will help empower clients to achieve energy‑efficient building solutions, protect the global environment, and create a greener future.

Responsibilities

• Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting the basis of design, user input, consultant input, field surveys, and code research.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing Information Communications Technology (ICT) systems in a built environment, building technology, or electrical consulting firm (structured cabling, voice/data, emergency communications, audio‑visual, mission‑critical/data center connectivity, clinical communication systems, etc.).
• Experience leading ICT design for projects in healthcare, higher education, and scientific environments.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Experience with ICT systems and infrastructure, including budgeting, capability analysis, and option evaluation.

Skills

• Understanding of building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
• RCDD certification.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time‑management abilities.
• Quick technical comprehension with a focus on client, project, and team outcomes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Effective work both individually and within team environments.
