Technology Protection Engineer III (TPE III/Senior Engineer)

About the role

Join Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) as a Technology Protection Engineer III (TPE III/Senior Engineer). This role supports the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Headquarters and its Major Subordinate Commands. The ideal candidate will provide engineering and technical insights, influence proper identification of sensitive information, and ensure effective Program Protection Plans are implemented.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside security specialists to provide engineering and technical insights and functional decompositions of the Army's most sensitive technologies.
• Provide support to Government Program Managers and Senior Engineers to influence proper identification of Critical Program Information (CPI), Critical Components (CC), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and Controlled Technical Information (CTI).
• Deliver recommendations to Government Security Officers (SSO) and support the Government in developing effective Program Protection Plans.
• Ensure Program Protection Plans are satisfactorily implemented at Government and defense contractor facilities where CPI resides.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in an engineering role.
• Excellent written and presentation skills, required to brief senior decision-makers.
• Army or DoD program acquisition experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience briefing and interacting with SES/General Officer levels preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).

Pay

The approximate salary range for this position is $125,000-$150,000k. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Schedule

This position is located on-site in Aberdeen, MD or Metro Park, VA.
