Technology Protection Engineer III
Position Summary
ABSC is seeking a Technology Protection Engineer with a TS/SCI for the Army Research and Technology Protection Center (ARTPC) program in Aberdeen, MD. In this role, you will provide research and technology protection (RTP) support to the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Headquarters (HQ) and its Major Subordinate Commands (MSC) and activities.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside security specialists to provide engineering and technical insights and functional decompositions of the Army’s most sensitive technologies.
- Providing support to Government Program Managers and Senior Engineers to influence proper identification of Critical Program Information (CPI), Critical Components (CC), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and Controlled Technical Information (CTI).
- Providing recommendations to Government Security Officers (SSO) and delivering findings to support the Government in its development of effective Program Protection Plans.
- Ensuring Program Protection Plans are satisfactorily implemented at Government as well as defense contractor facilities where CPI resides.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in an engineering role.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills -- this role requires briefing senior decision-makers.
- Army or DoD program acquisition experience is preferred, but not required.
- Experience briefing and interacting with SES/General Officer levels preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering (any discipline).
Benefits
Salary is commensurate with experience. Salary range for this requisition is: $100-125k. An approximate salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
