Technology Project Manager - Cloud and Disaster Recovery (70% Salesforce and 30% AWS)

About the role

Technology Project Manager Cloud & Disaster Recovery (70% Salesforce & 30% AWS) – Contract position located in Malvern, PA (Hybrid – 3 days a week on‑site). Key notes: strong disaster management implementation experience prioritized; demonstrated experience developing and executing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity programs on Salesforce Cloud platform; strong Salesforce Cloud experience (70%) with AWS (30%); end‑to‑end disaster management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and governance of enterprise web application and cloud initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on AWS.
• Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, including Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), resilience planning, and alignment with business continuity.
• Manage end‑to‑end DR testing exercises: scope definition, stakeholder coordination, runbook preparation, logistics planning, execution oversight, issue remediation, and executive reporting of results and recommendations.
• Partner with application development, infrastructure, cloud engineering, security, and business teams to ensure deployment readiness, environment stability, operational resilience, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Oversee application release and deployment management across multiple environments, leveraging modern DevOps practices, automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS cloud services to ensure reliable and efficient delivery.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and project risks while providing leadership, governance reporting, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful outcomes across cloud, web application, and DR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Tech Project Management roles.
• Ability to work from the office in Malvern, PA, 3 days a week, with a start time of 8am EST.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity programs.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
